Currently, the project is in progress to be more effective and successful.
“EGCO Group is delighted to share experiences and disseminate knowledge on waste management within the organization to achieve application in the community and society. Effective waste management reduces negative environmental impacts and helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It also creates a good and sustainable ecosystem for the community and society. This aligns with EGCO Group's goal of moving towards a low-carbon society, Ms. Piyanon said.
Prapanya Nanthamunee, the abbot of Chonprathan Rangsarit, Phra Aram Luang Temple, said that the temple is another place where there is a lot of waste and the amount of waste is increasing daily. Various activities to help reduce the amount of waste from the source, such as requesting cooperation for not accepting the wreaths at the funeral, bringing leaves and twigs to decompose and making fertilizer or compost, construction of a waste sorting plant, etc., to maintain the environment within the temple. The support for sorted waste bins and knowledge from EGCO Group will serve as a role model for disseminating knowledge and leading to further expansion.
“EGCO Group is very good at waste management. The temple, therefore, asked for cooperation from the company to help develop this field of work within the temple. If the operation within the temple is successful, It is believed that the results can be greatly expanded because the temple has diverse visitors. Lastly, to make this story complete and successful, we must come together to create awareness that this story cannot be done alone. But we have to work together from all parties,” concluded Prapanyananthamuni.
