EGCO Group has organized supplier participation activities regularly since 2018, aligning with the company’s aspiration to take part in supplier development thereby growing together sustainably
- Supplier information/training As part of the annual supplier meeting, supplier training session includes training on company's supplier ESG program, process, and requirements, exchange of experiences among suppliers by sustainable best practice companies. Participation in ESG activities through knowledge sharing and raising awareness on sustainable operations covering governance, environmental, and social dimensions are also implemented. Topics includes efficient water and energy usage, guidelines for reducing waste generation, human rights and labor practices, and basic principles of good corporate governance
- Supplier access to ESG benchmarks against peers Supply Chain Management Audit involves reporting the audit results and providing supporting information on good practices to ensure the ESG development of suppliers.
- Supplier support remote/onsite EGCO Group has assisted in suppliers’ ESG development by offering audit and training courses, as well as consultation regarding the formulation of corrective or preventive action plans.
- In-depth technical support programs EGCO Group has provided technical support relating to sustainability topics to systematically enhance supplier’s potential through various projects e.g. greenhouse gas emissions scope 3 data collection and human rights assessment.
