EGCO Group has established a Board Level Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee, with an independent director as the chairman and comprising of directors and the President as committee members. This board committee is responsible for oversight of the implementation of the supplier ESG program which includes reviewing, verifying, and providing comments on procurement policies, as well as the supplier code of conduct.
EGCO Group has formulated management guidelines for suppliers under the company’s supply chain to minimize the risks associated with electricity generation capabilities. EGCO Group is determined to enhance suppliers’ potential to grow sustainably together with EGCO Group.
EGCO Group has established and ensured that its suppliers adhere to procurement and service policies, as well as the supplier code of conduct, which announces a clear commitment to developing EGCO Group’s operational procedures alongside supplier development.
EGCO Group has conducted an assessment to identify its critical/significant suppliers. Risks associated with sustainable development have also been identified. The development of strategies and approaches for supply chain management has been implemented earnestly and continually. Additionally, the company has formulated Supply Chain Management Procedures as a framework for corporate implementation.
