EGCO GROUP DONATES PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AGAINST COVID-19 TO WAT RATCHABOPHIT SCHOOL, ENCOURAGE YOUTH TO STUDY ONSITE SAFELY

EGCO Group joins hands to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in educational institutions by supporting COVID-19 prevention equipment and infectious waste management equipment and promoting proper and appropriate waste separation for Wat Ratchabophit School. This is to encourage young people to safely return to the on-site classroom and be able to learn at their full potential.

Ms. Sirirat Wongpiya, Vice President-Corporate Communications of EGCO Group, revealed that “EGCO Group recognizes the importance of encouraging young people to an early age that will grow up to become an important force in the development of communities and the country to learn and develop full potential amidst restrictions from the COVID-19 situation. Therefore, the company supports COVID-19 prevention equipment and promotes the proper management of infectious waste for 85 schools and child development centers across the country. Recently, it was delivered to Wat Ratchabophit School; since the outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020 to the present, EGCO Group has been involved in helping and supporting the operations of various sectors, both public and private, in dealing with the COVID-19 crisis of the country continuously. The total value is more than 55 million baht.”

Mr. Pramote Tweetangtrakul, the director of Wat Ratchabophit School, revealed that “Wat Ratchabophit School has returned to open for teaching in the first semester of the 2022 academic year in an on-site system from May 16, 2022, onwards, but the school and parents are still concerned about the Risk of spreading COVID-19. This is because the school has approximately 2,000 students, teachers and educational personnel, some of whom travel from other areas and provinces, coupled with a limited budget. The school, therefore, requests support for materials and equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety within the school area. On this occasion, we would like to thank EGCO Group for helping support cleanliness and safety equipment as requested by the school. The school will put the received materials and equipment to maximum benefit to care for the students.”
