EGCO Group emphasizes the policy of cultivating “Innovation” in the DNA of personnel through the challenging innovation contest “EGCO Group INNERGY, Power of Sustainable Innovation from within”, providing a space for employees to explore creative ideas. Focus on improving operations ready to create opportunities to expand new business Meet the needs of sustainable growth in the era of technological disruption.

Mr. Thepparat Theppitak, President of EGCO Group, revealed that EGCO Group announced its business direction towards sustainable growth “Cleaner, Smarter and Stronger to Drive Sustainable Growth”. The Company also aims to expand its business into high-growth industries (New S-Curve) driven by innovation and modern technology. Therefore, the Company has a policy to cultivate “Innovative thinking” which is one of the important cultures of the organization to be tangible. Through continuous innovation activities since 2018, and recently, it has been upgraded to a full internal innovation contest under the name "EGCO Group INNERGY, Sustainable Innovation from within".

The EGCO Group INNERGY program aims to open space for employees of the entire organization, to share creative ideas, fully demonstrate knowledge and innovation capability. Through online and semi-reality innovation contests that are exciting, challenging and in line with the New Normal lifestyle.

The contest is divided into 5 rounds, beginning with the Idea Jam round where all employees brainstorm innovative ideas. That helps develop work or expand new businesses with unlimited ideas. The Hackathon round is open for contestants to present innovative ideas. To select potential teams to enter the Bootcamp round, where the finalists will learn intensive innovation and business skills from trainers. Before entering the sandbox prototyping trial and finally, the SharkBite & Inno Summit Finals where innovation and business plans must be presented to the committee in the form of a virtual event. It took a total of 6 months and the winning innovation was already announced.
