EGCO Group confirms support for gender equality and inclusive growth in celebration of Pride Month

Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group reiterated its appreciation and support for gender equality in the annual celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride Month in June. Believing that a “good beginning results in good ending”, the company places high importance on development of human, the corporate crucial resources, and values human differences as well as supports gender equality without discrimination, which has become EGCO Group’s culture. Together with respect of human rights, EGCO Group has been widely recognized as a caring organization.
Dr. Jiraporn Sirikum, President of EGCO Group, stated that people are the most important corporate resources. Regardless of their gender preferences, they all have intrinsic worth and ability to drive growth and development of the organization and the entire society. EGCO Group has a clear policy related to human rights, the basic rights individuals should equally have. Therefore, the company gives high priority to equal treatment of individual employees regardless of their gender identities. This concept exists in every step, from recruitment to selection, promotion, performance appraisal, remuneration and employee benefits. Individual employees have equal right to make progress in their work.
