EGCO Group together with EGAT and ATE Co., Ltd. joint agreement with Bloom Energy Corporation, USA

EGCO Group, EGAT, ATE Co., Ltd. and Bloom Energy Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the production of electricity from hydrogen fuel that does not generate CO2. By jointly developing Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology and Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell (SOEC) technology, which will help support Thailand's carbon reduction efforts and the transition to hydrogen to achieve Carbon Neutral goals.
Mr. Theparat Theppitak, President of EGCO Group, said that this cooperation is an excellent opportunity for EGCO Group to jointly seek investment opportunities in SOFC and SOEC technologies as a solution in electric power generation. In a new format in Thailand and ASEAN, where this technology is attractive high efficiency reliable Competitive price is available and is expected to be used as a replacement for conventional combined cycle power generation systems in the future.
This cooperation is a cooperation between Thailand and the United States. In Thailand, EGAT is a leading state-owned enterprise in the field of energy under the Ministry of Energy. EGCO Group is a leading Thai energy company of which EGAT is a major shareholder and ATE Co., Ltd. is a service provider of the leading energy in Thailand and produces Green Hydrogen energy. Furthermore, the United States side, by Bloom Energy Corporation, is a manufacturer of equipment related to generating electricity from hydrogen fuel with SOFC and SOEC technology.
