EGCO Group organizes the project “Change New Year's gifts to Empower our Society.” responds to the “No Gift Policy”

Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group responded to the “No Gift Policy” in organizing the project “Change New Year's gifts to Empower our Society.” Stakeholders and business partners are invited to contribute happiness and energy back to society through the donation project to support various charitable organizations and foundations on the occasion of the New Year Festival 2022.

Mr. Thepparat Theppitak, President of EGCO Group, revealed, “EGCO Group believes that sharing goodwill and passing on help to others during the festive season and celebration will help create positive energy, for both the giver and the receiver. Meanwhile, in 2021, EGCO Group has also announced the No Gift Policy policy at all levels of the organization. In order to enhance good corporate governance and establish business standards that are transparent and verifiable according to anti-corruption guidelines, therefore, on the occasion of this New Year's festival, EGCO Group has organized the “Change New Year's gifts to Empower our Society” by using the budget used for preparing New Year's gifts to stakeholders changed to donating those budget to various charitable organizations and foundations by giving opportunities for stakeholders and business partners to share and spread happiness. By joining together to select a charitable organization and a foundation that wishes EGCO Group to donate the budget to help the society in the future.”

Stakeholders can join the game to receive the "heart power" quota, which will be converted into a donation amount also can choose various charitable organizations and foundations. EGCO Group will deliver donations to support the nine charitable organizations and foundations, including

  • Foundation for The Blind in Thailand Under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen,
  • Phrabat Namphu Temple,
  • Priest Hospital,
  • Ramathibodi for Community Hospitals,
  • Operation Smile Thailand,
  • Somdet Chaopraya Hospital Foundation,
  • Phaya Thai Babies Home,
  • The Foundation for the Deaf under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen, and
  • Thai Rak Pa Foundation.
