Supplier Development and Capacity Building 2023
EGCO Group recognizes the critical role suppliers play in our sustainability journey. We are committed to foster a collaboration that enhances supplier awareness and promotes the robust ESG practices throughout our supply chain. We achieve this through a dedicated program of ‘Supplier information/trainings on company's supplier ESG Program’, Process, and Requirements’, known as EGCO Supplier Days.
This session will be held annually. EGCO Supplier Days provide a comprehensive platform for suppliers to gain the knowledge to integrate ESG principles into their operations, a clear understanding of EGCO Group's ESG goals, and expectations, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers and guidance on implementing corrective and improvement actions to enhance their ESG performance as well as EGCO requirements.
Supplier Day 2023 was held on 14th December 2023 with a focus on specific topics, including:
- EGCO Supplier Code of Conduct: This focused on EGCO's expectations for responsible sourcing, including labor practices, environmental impact, and ethical business conduct.

Supplier Assessment and Technical Support Programs
EGCO prioritizes the sustainability of its supply chain by conducting supplier audits. These audits ensure alignment with EGCO established Supplier Code of Conduct and ESG requirements. Beyond ensuring compliance, EGCO fosters continuous improvement by providing in-depth technical support programs to build capacity and ESG performance in suppliers during the audit process. This targeted support aligns with our technical support programs and focuses on critical areas like environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects, along with safety. For example, this support may involve sharing knowledge on chemical management, best practices for mechanical and construction services, and responsible workforce practices.
