EGCO Group donated 1.5 million baht to support 9 foundations and charitable organizations under the project “Change New Year's Gifts to Empower our Society.”

Project “Change New Year's Gifts Empower our Society” by Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group, shares happiness and power back to society by donating a total of 1.5 million baht to donate funds to foundations and 9 charitable organizations, as well as thanking all stakeholders for supporting the activity very well.

“Change New Year's Gifts Empower our Society” was initiated by EGCO Group with the idea of sharing goodwill and passing on happiness to others in the New Year. This will help create positive energy for both the giver and the receiver. In addition, the Company has announced the No Gift Policy at all levels of the organization to elevate good corporate governance, create standards of transparent and verifiable business operations in accordance with the anti-corruption guidelines. EGCO Group has therefore organized this project by changing the budget used to produce New Year's gifts to various foundations and charitable organizations.

The project also provides an opportunity for stakeholders, including business partners who have received gifts from EGCO Group and the general public to participate in the selection of charitable organizations and foundations that EGCO Group would like to donate the budget through activities on the website www.palungjaiegco.com until February 28, 2022. EGCO Group is responsible for the donation budget throughout the project.

With the support of all stakeholders, partners and participants who share their power on the website, EGCO Group has increased another contribution. A total donation of 1.5 million baht has already been given to foundations and 9 charitable organizations, including the Foundation for The Blind in Thailand Under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen, Phrabat Namphu Temple, Priest Hospital, Ramathibodi for Community Hospitals, Operation Smile Thailand, Somdet Chaopraya Hospital Foundation, Phaya Thai Babies Home, The Foundation for the Deaf under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen and Thai Rak Pa Foundation.
