EGCO Group, by “Thai Rak Pa Foundation”, delivered the “Angka Nature Trail” aiming to be a natural learning center for an ecosystem of the highest swamp forest in thailand

Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group by Thai Rak Pa Foundation, a charitable organization founded and supported by the EGCO Group to conserve the country's natural resources and watershed forests, delivered the "Angka Nature Trail" in Doi Inthanon National Park. By renovated with signs conveying the meaning of nature on the route and the Angka Virtual 360-degree application to the Department of National Park Wildlife and Plant Conservation. This will become a learning center for watershed forest ecosystems and allow the tourists to experience and understand the value of natural resources that is more than a tourist attraction and is aware of everyone's role in caring for the forest. The route handover ceremony was held on 13th November 2021, attended by Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai, Mr. chatchawal chayabutr as a witness.

Angka Nature Trail is the highest mountain swamp forest in Thailand and is a destination for tourists. It is also a watershed forest with ecosystems, one of the hardest to find in Thailand with high biodiversity. It is a quality water reservoir that is the source of the Mae Klang River before flowing into Mae Ping. It is also the holy water source of Chiang Mai. Therefore, the Angka forest area is valuable and important to the ecosystem and history. It is worth preserving and encouraging visitors to know and understand the value of this important forest.

Angka Nature Study Route is circular with a total distance of 320 meters consists of high biodiversity, especially the creatures in this area that have adapted to endemic ecosystems. It is a source of many rare plants and wildlife, which indicates the abundance of forests. Therefore, suitable for short-term nature walks. Moreover, this route is only 50 meters from the mountaintop nature trail, allowing tourists to explore both nature trails within the same day.
