EGCO Group donates a “Care Bag” home isolation kit to help infected people through the hospital and public health care service center in rayong province

Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group joins the community in the fight against COVID-19 by creating and delivering a “Care Bag” containing a set of medicines and medical supplies for COVID-19 patients, 200 sets of home isolation kits to be given to Hospitals and Public Health Service Centers in the area around the EGCO Cogen Power Plant and EGCO Rayong Industrial Estate, Rayong Province. These home isolation kits will be passed on to the green group of Covid-19 patients who have been treated during home detention.
Mr. Thepparat Theppitak, President of EGCO Group, said that the third wave of the Covid-19 epidemic situation in Rayong province is still severe. The number of new infections continues to increase. Meanwhile, a large number of asymptomatic or mild green group patients are undergoing home isolation or community isolation; some may be in bed waiting. EGCO Rayong Industrial Estate operates in Rayong; therefore, would like to be a part of helping to take care of patients in the green group by creating a “Care Bag” containing a set of medicines and medical supplies necessary for initial self-care throughout the 14-day quarantine and delivering them through the Hospitals and the Public Health Service Center in Rayong Province.
“Care Bag” is not just a Home Isolation Kit but represents concern from EGCO Group to all patients through supporting the hospital's mission to be able to care for the isolated patients at home fully. EGCO Group would like to encourage all Thai people and would like to be another force to help alleviate the situation and join to stop the epidemic of the new wave of Covid-19," said Mr. Thepparat.
